Tyler Hobson

Corporate Accountant

Tyler joined Valor in 2025 and serves as a Corporate Accountant on the Finance team.

Prior to joining Valor, Tyler worked as a tax consultant at Deloitte in Chicago. He collaborated with clients across multiple industries to analyze their financial statement data and understand their operations and accounting methods, ensuring IRS compliance while maximizing available tax benefits. Before beginning his career in accounting, Tyler served five years in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman.

Tyler graduated summa cum laude from the Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting. He was an active member of Beta Alpha Psi and served as chairman of the university’s student chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
