Ross Agins

Assistant Corporate Controller

Ross joined Valor in 2026 as a Corporate Accountant on the Finance team.

Prior to joining Valor, Ross was an Experienced Senior Associate at BDO USA in the firm's Chicago office. At BDO, he gained experience in the Third-Party Attestation department with a focus on SOC reporting, before transitioning into the Outsourced Finance and Accounting department. There, he provided clients with day-to-day accounting expertise and support, assisted with audits, and delivered advisory services – including monthly close processes and consolidation reporting – most notably in the asset-backed securities (ABS)/private credit and hospitality industries.

Ross holds a B.S. in Accounting and a Master of Accounting Science (M.A.S.) with a focus in Data Analytics, both from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.
