Tarak Makecha

Vice President

Tarak joined Valor in 2025 as a Vice President on the Scale Group Team. 

Tarak's private sector experience includes serving as CFO at SkySafe, Business Operations and Economic Research at Flexport, Finance and Operations at Tesla, and Management Consulting at Deloitte.

Tarak's public sector experience includes serving as an Army Officer with the 101st Airborne Division and 75th Ranger Regiment, and as a Senior Advisor to national security and foreign affairs federal government agencies.

 Tarak holds an M.B.A. from the Texas McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, where he also graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Government. Tarak earned a M.S. in Management Exchange Programme from the London School of Economics.
