Philippe El Khazen

Operating Partner

Philippe serves as Operating Partner at Valor. 

Philippe focuses on operational growth and interim portfolio management at portfolio companies across Valor’s investment sectors. He led the firm’s internal data science and software function from 2022 to 2025. He originally joined Valor in 2012.

Prior to joining Valor, Philippe was a member of the aerospace navigation laboratory at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where his research focused on the integrity performance of the Global Navigation Satellite System.

Philippe holds an M.S. in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, as well as an M.S. in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from INSA of Strasbourg, France. In addition, Philippe is a CFA charterholder.
