Josh Gruenbaum

Managing Director

Josh joined Valor in 2026 as a Managing Director on the Investment Team.

Prior to joining Valor, Josh served as a Senior Advisor in the White House Office of Special Peace Missions and served as Commissioner of the Federal Acquisition Service at the U.S. General Services Administration. Josh also serves as a Senior Advisor to the Board of Peace, an international organization focused on conflict resolution, humanitarian stabilization, and long-term economic development.

Prior to his government service, Josh spent nearly a decade in finance, including private equity and investment banking. He was a Director at KKR and previously a Vice President working across the Restructuring & M&A groups at Moelis & Company.

Josh earned a J.D. from the New York University School of Law and an M.B.A. from the NYU Stern School of Business. He also holds a B.A. in Talmudic Law from Ner Israel Rabbinical College and is admitted to the New York State Bar.
