Donald Penn

Associate Counsel

Donald joined Valor in 2025 as Associate Counsel.

Prior to joining Valor, Donald was an associate at Sadis & Goldberg LLP in the firm’s Financial Services and Corporate groups where he focused on the structuring and formation, capital raising and regulatory compliance of U.S. and non-U.S. private investment vehicles. Donald began his career at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP as an associate in the firm’s Alternative Investments Group where he represented clients in connection with the formation, structuring, offering and ongoing operations of private equity funds and other alternative investment vehicles.

Donald holds a B.A. from Morehouse College and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law.
