Data Scientist

Tyler joined Valor in 2025 as a Data Scientist on the Valor Labs Team.

Prior to joining Valor, Tyler was a Data Scientist at Awarity, a marketing company that leverages advanced analytics and AI to make targeted advertising accessible and affordable for businesses of all sizes. Tyler was responsible for developing automation tools and predictive models that enhanced targeting capabilities and improved marketing outcomes for clients.

Prior to that, Tyler spent several years working in space science research at Los Alamos National Laboratory and The University of Iowa supporting high energy small-satellite missions. His research has been published in the Journal of Astronomical Telescopes, Instruments, and Systems (JATIS).

Tyler holds a B.S. in Astronomy and Physics with honors from the University of Iowa, and a M.S. in Applied Data Science from The University of Chicago.
