Tyler Muckian

Manufacturing Engineer

Tyler joined Valor in 2026 as a Manufacturing Engineer on the Scale Group team.

Prior to joining Valor, Tyler worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the defense industry, including stints at the Department of Energy’s Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC) and leading energetic device manufacturer, Chemring Energetic Devices.  Tyler has six years of experience leading root cause and failure analyses as well as scaling manufacturing operations through expansions and targeted improvements.  His manufacturing experience has spanned highly regulated environments, from life-saving explosive devices to structural components for nuclear deterrence systems.

Tyler holds an MBA from The Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management as well as a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Illinois.
