Philippe El Khazen
Philippe is a Vice President at Valor. His responsibilities primarily include post-closing improvement projects within Valor's portfolio companies.
Philippe joined Valor in 2012 as an Operations Specialist. In this capacity, he provided operational support to several portfolio companies across the consumer, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors. His projects focused on system implementations, business analytics, lean improvements, and the development of operational and statistical tools to support high growth environments.
Prior to joining Valor, Philippe was a member of the aerospace navigation laboratory at the Illinois Institute of Technology where his research focused on a new algorithm to enhance the integrity performance of the Global Navigation Satellite System using both GPS and Galileo constellations.
Philippe holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (with Highest Honors) from the Illinois Institute of Technology, as well as a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from INSA of Strasbourg, France. In addition, Philippe was awarded the CFA charter in September 2016. He is fluent in French and Arabic and intermediate in Spanish.
