Kirsten Curtis

Principal

Kirsten joined Valor’s in 2016 and serves as a Principal in Valor’s operations group. Prior to joining Valor, Kirsten served as President & CEO of Northern Quinoa Production Corp. and led the turnaround of the 24-year-old quinoa company. Kirsten has over a decade of experience managing global supply chain functions in retail, technology, and public health organizations. She formerly held a number of roles with Safeway’s Supply Chain organization, most recently as Vice President, Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives where she was selected to lead the $60 billion supply chain integration in the Safeway-Albertsons merger. Prior to joining Safeway, Kirsten spent time with KLA-Tencor.

Kirsten received her Master’s of Engineering, Supply Chain Management and Logistics from MIT-Zaragoza. She completed her B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa.

Kirsten holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the American Society for Quality and serves as a mentor at Stanford University.
