Senior Advisor

Constantine is a Senior Advisor at Valor Equity Partners. Prior to his current position, Constantine served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and was responsible for Valor’s technology strategy, infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity. Costa also led the “Valor Labs” team which generates information and insights from data to inform our investment process. In addition to his CTO role, Costa supported the Firm’s sourcing, tracking and underwriting of investment opportunities. Costa currently serves on the Board of Directors of Redacted, Inc. and HackerOne, and on the Advisory Board of Anduril Industries, Inc. Costa first joined Valor as an Executive in Residence (EIR) in 2019. He is based in the Washington D.C. area. 

Until November 2018, Costa held numerous leadership positions at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), including Chief Strategy Officer, member of the CIA’s corporate board, Acting Assistant Director, Center Chief of Operations, and other senior executive and operations positions. Prior to joining the CIA in early 2001, Costa was a consultant and entrepreneur in the management consulting and technology space. 

Costa is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program, earned a Master of Science from Virginia Tech in Systems Engineering (Management Systems), and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia in Electrical Engineering. Costa serves on several external boards, where he contributes his background in strategy, innovation, and technology, with a particular focus on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
