Valor pursues prospective platform companies that are leaders within their markets or have the potential to become leaders. As a result, Valor's industry segment interests are diverse. Through its investment activities, Valor has developed expertise in a variety of industrial, specialty distribution, service, and manufacturing markets.

Parameters: Valor seeks control equity investments in businesses that meet the following general criteria:

• New Platforms: EBITDA of $5M - $15M; although this range may fluctuate on a situational basis
• Equity Investment: $10M - $30M per transaction
• Add-on Investments: No minimum size
• Special Situations: Cashflow breakeven or positive
