David F. Heskett, Vice President
Mr. Heskett has 6 years of experience in private equity investing. As Vice President, Mr. Heskett's responsibilities include financial modeling and due diligence of potential acquisitions, industry research, and providing supplemental or interim portfolio company management. Mr. Heskett recently served as the interim CFO for Smith Gas Field Services, LLC.
Prior to becoming a Vice President, Mr. Heskett was an Associate at Valor providing analytical and transactional support for the portfolio companies. Prior to joining Valor, Mr. Heskett worked at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, as a research analyst, on a project to update one of two primary particle collision detectors located on the Tevatron, a particle accelerator located in Batavia, Illinois. Mr. Heskett also served as a research assistant in the Plasma Physics Group at the University of Montana conducting optimization algorithms for Oak Ridge National Laboratory, funded by a University grant from the Department of Energy.
Mr. Heskett received a B.A. in Physics and Applied Mathematics (magna cum laude) from University of Montana. He is currently sitting for the CFA Level II exam.
Mr. Heskett is a sponsor and mentor at Link Unlimited; a not-for-profit organization that provides educational college preparatory opportunities for economically disadvantaged high school youth.
